George Washington’s Birthday Special Event Station

Help us celebrate our first president's 289th birthday!

Our annual George Washington Birthday Special Event will take place on Feb. 12 (Sat) & 14 (Sun), 2021.

Members will be operating remote stations this year due to COVID, with many broadcasting from the original grounds of the former plantation of George Washington and his wife, Martha Washington.

Join us on Facebook for some live streaming of the event!

This free event is open to the public, especially those interested in the art of Ham radio! Join us here if you want to learn more about radios.
